A Mage Staff is a crucial item for spellcasters. In addition to providing a 2 point bonus to Armor Class, the Mage Staff allows the wielder to regenerate spell points as if in daylight, regardless of the location or time. In combat, the Mage Staff causes the wielder to regenerate one spell point per round. When held outdoors in daylight, it generates spell points in addition to the natural spell point regeneration of the wielder.
