Garth
Garth is the proprietor of Garth's Equipment Shoppe in Skara Brae in Tales of the Unknown. In his younger days, he used to be a mighty warrior, but now - as the image shows - his beard has grown white and his head bald. Because of his experience as an adventurer, he is able to identify any unknown item the party might bring him, albeit for good money.
He does not appear in The Thief of Fate, having had his franchise destroyed by Tarjan. According to the c64-package of Thief of Fate, the shop "went under so quickly Garth was crushed."
